There are so many things I love about summer -- peaches (they're near the top of my list), drinking my morning cup of tea outside, even getting a little sunburned (Don't worry, I wear sunscreen MOST of the time...) But one of my favorite signs of summer is a camp letter in my mailbox. My kids have been away at camp for the last couple of weeks -- one in Maine, and the other in upstate New York. This is the first time both kids have been gone at the same time -- so that means we've had the house to ourselves! I've barely been to the grocery store, and the washing machine practically smiles when I put in a load of laundry, it's so lonely. Camp is winding down, and the kids will be home soon. The dog days of summer are upon us, but I'm still trying to savor every last juicy drop.
In celebration of summer (and summer camp), here are a few fun finds:

Peanut Butter Cup S'mores from Not Martha -- OMG!:
Your kids write you letters from camp?! My daughter's been away all summer (having graduated to being a counselor) and all I get are texts! The ironic part? She texted me and asked me to mail her some stamps and envelopes so she can write to her friends. Hey, at least she's a writer. Sigh.
