It's been busy, busy hasn't it? School ending, camp starting, and lots of projects and crafts piling up around the house. So if you're looking for a super easy summer craft fix, (to fit in between all your summer cleaning, activities and beach laundry...) check out this project I made for the July/August issue of Country Living Magazine.
It's a simple oilcloth clutch, and you can find the step by step instructions and pattern template on Country Living's website. You only need a 1/2" of material, like this cute oversized "Cafe Check" oilcloth from Fabric Depot. (Hurry, last time I looked it was on sale for $6.99 a yard.) Not only does this bag look great with a retro bandana print sundress (where did that get that dress? Perfect!), but it also makes a great gift -- and you can whip it up in less than an hour. (The elastic closer is just a ponytail holder...)
And make sure to check out the other fun summer crafts in the magazine's new issue.
Summer is finally here. Hooray!
